**We don’t do any work in-store. We hand deliver items to our jewelers twice a week. Repairs are around a 2-week turnaround time and custom designs are around 6-8 weeks.

Resetting Stones
People decide to reset stones for many reasons, and we will help you make choices that please your aesthetics and fit your budget. Quotes are always provided for your approval before any work is done.
Beading and Stranding
The restringing of broken necklaces and bracelets is done by our experienced stranding studio. Beaded necklaces that no longer please you can be redesigned. Our studio artists will create fresh new looks that will satisfy your desire for a change. Extra beads may be used for matching earrings or bracelets.
Repairs & Sizing
We offer a full range of jewelry repair services. By using multiple studios, each piece is handled by a craftsman who excels in that specialty. You may ask for a quote before any work is done. At Arareity, you’ll get assistance in establishing a comfortable fit for any condition.
Appraisals
Appraisals give a value that varies by the purpose:
Insurance appraisals must take into account the cost of replacing the items with like materials.
Estate appraisals are for establishing a value for comparison so equitable divisions can be made or for tax purposes.
Scrap appraisals are for discovering exactly what you can receive in exchange for a piece of jewelry. Our experienced staff will be happy to identify what you have and recommend whether or not an appraisal is appropriate.
Restoring or Modifying Estate Jewelry
Estate jewelry is in a special category all by itself. It is extra precious if it has been handed down through generations of a family. Sometimes its age presents problems because metals may get brittle as time passes. Some repair work that couldn’t be done in the past because of the heat from soldering can now be accomplished with lasers. Inherited jewelry may not fit, be appropriate or flattering. We can help you modify it to suit your taste and lifestyle.
